We Went to War: Voices of Trumansburg’s Past

Dramatic historical monologues of Trumansburg’s military personnel buried in Grove Cemetery, presented by Encore Players Community Theatre on May 29 and 30 from 7-9 pm. This event will feature stories of some of our past residents who served in the Revolutionary, Civil, and both World Wars. Historian John Wertis has researched the lives of a dozen servicemen and women whose stories are brought to life by local actors as audience members tour Grove Cemetery.

This program is made possible by a collaboration between the Grove Cemetery Association and Encore Players Community Theatre. It is free and open to the public; donations to benefit the Cemetery will be gratefully accepted.

Social distancing and masks recommended.
