Take a magical journey down the Yellow Brick Road with Encore Players’ cast of over fifty as they transport you to the Land of Oz! This beloved American musical follows the adventures of Dorothy as she journeys from her native land of Kansas on the winds of a tornado to the colorful Land of the Munchkins, the sparkling streets of the Emerald City, and the grim chamber of the Wicked Witch of the West. Enchanting characters join her quest to see the Wizard as she seeks her heart’s desire. Based on the MGM movie, this musical has all the familiar songs audiences know from the movie as well as couple of delightful additions.

A mix of new and familiar faces, this cast is rich in talent. Director Anne Bialke and Music Director Alice Ploss, both veterans of countless productions, team up for their fourth big musical for Encore Players, and a seasoned production team promises wonderful costumes, imaginative sets and a full orchestra.
