Take flight with Encore Players this summer as we bring this beloved story to life! 

Two children fall in love with the wreck of a famous race car in Ian Fleming’s delightful tale of “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang”, the car with the hidden talents and personality like no other! Add the childrens’ inventor father Caractacus Potts and the delectable Truly Scrumptious, stir in a dastardly Baroness and her childish Baron, mix in a couple of bumbling spies and a villainous Childcatcher along with a host of other wonderful characters, and you have a recipe for a confection that will sweeten your summer!

Based on the MGM film, this show combines familiar songs and colorful dance numbers with technical wizardry and a generous measure of sly humor. Once again, Encore’s cast features familiar and new faces in a strong showing of talent. Director Anne Bialke and Music Director Alice Ploss, both veterans of countless productions, collaborate on their fifth big musical for Encore Players, and a seasoned production team promises wonderful costumes, imaginative sets and a full compliment of musicians. Join us for a magical automotive adventure!
