    Stage Combat Workshop with Jacob Lehman.

    Intro level stage combat. No experience necessary, training swords provided. 

    The resident fight choreographer for Ithaca Shakespeare Company since 2016, Jacob has worked with the Kitchen Theater, Hangar Theater, and taught workshops at Cornell, Ithaca College, and Wells College.

    Interactive stage acting workshop facilitated by Chris Manly 

    Tuesday Nov. 18, 7-9pm

    Discuss and practice techniques and conventions of movement in stage acting to maximize visual interest in a scene, build confidence on stage, and elevate the impact of the script. 

    Chris Manly is the President of Encore Players Community Theatre. 

  • Breaking the Fourth Wall

    Intro to Hip Hop Dancewith G-Quan Booker. 

    Saturday, November 22, 1-3pm 

    Joyful movement and creative expression for all,
    no experience necessary.  

    G-Quan is a dancer, poet, rapper and actor who is passionate about supporting people to unlock their inner creativity. He has years of experience teaching Hip Hop arts to children and adults and is a founding member of Global Creative Family- a premier regional organization committed to elevating performing artists.

    Dress comfortably and wear comfy grippy shoes.

  • Stage Presence

    Physicality & Body Language in Acting with Jacob Lehman. 

    Wednesday, December 13, 7-9pm 

    Your physical presence on stage is a tool for storytelling, displaying internal and interpersonal dynamics beyond the text. Explore posture, gesture, coordinated movement and impulse as conduits for emotion, intention, and character. 

    The resident fight choreographer for Ithaca Shakespeare Company since 2016, Jacob has worked with the Kitchen Theater, Hangar Theater, and taught workshops at Cornell, Ithaca College, and Wells College. In addition to stage combat, he draws on techniques from mime, dance, and music to help enhance both comedic and dramatic moments physically.
