Open Auditions: The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance

Encore Players Community Theatre is extending the casting call for The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance. Another opportunity to audition is this Wednesday, March 9, at 7:00p at the Ulysses Philomathic Library on Main Street, Trumansburg. The Encore Players of Trumansburg NY announce open auditions for their upcoming production of “The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance” by Jethro Compton. Audition times are Wednesday March 2nd at 7 p.m. and Saturday March 5th at 2 p.m. at the Presbyterian Church Chapel in Trumansburg, NY. Actors will be asked to perform a cold-reading from the script and are welcome to present a short prepared monologue if they wish. Previous acting experience is preferred, but not necessary.

We are looking for 6 men, 1 woman (speaking roles) and others who will play parts of non-speaking townspeople and students. Ages teen-adults of all ages.

Anyone interested in participating with other aspects of the production, (i.e. costumes, props, set construction, tech, etc.) is welcome come to auditions.
